- Digital Products (Antivirus & Security Software)
All digital software sales are governed by the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
- Monthly Subscription (7-Day Window): You have the right to cancel and request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase.
- Annual Subscription (30-Day Window): Pursuant to industry-standard consumer protection, you are entitled to a full refund within 30 calendar days of the purchase or annual renewal date.
- Consumption Policy: Under US law, digital products that have been “consumed” (i.e., the license key has been activated or registered with the software vendor) may be ineligible for a refund if the 7-day or 30-day window has passed.
- Auto-Renewal: You may disable auto-renewal at any time. To avoid future charges, cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle.
- Computer Hardware & Peripherals
Our hardware return policy is structured according to UCC Article 2, which governs the sale of goods in the United States.
- 30-Day Right of Return: You may return hardware components and peripherals within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
- Implied Warranty of Merchantability: In accordance with the UCC, we warrant that all hardware is fit for its ordinary purpose. If an item is Defective on Arrival (DOA), we will provide a pre-paid return label and a full refund or replacement if reported within 14 days.
- Restocking Fees: For non-defective returns (e.g., “change of mind”), a 15% restocking fee will be applied to cover inspection and administrative costs, as permitted by Wisconsin state law.
- Exclusions: Software that has been unsealed, customized hardware builds, and consumables (like thermal paste) are non-returnable once opened or used.
- IT Remote Service Support
These services are categorized as “Future Service Contracts” under US consumer protection principles.
- Right to Reschedule: You may cancel or reschedule a support session without penalty provided you give 24 hours’ notice.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the service cost.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If a service is not performed to professional standards, TL Softtech LLC will provide a corrective session at no cost or a pro-rated refund.
- Refund Disbursement
- Original Payment Method: All refunds must be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction to prevent fraudulent activity and comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
- Processing Time: While we process refunds within 48 hours of approval, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
- Legal Jurisdiction
This policy and all transactions are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable United States Federal Law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dane County, Wisconsin.
